Ep259. What Really Causes Practice Growth.
Angus Pyke
In today’s episode I’m talking about beliefs. I’ll share with you why beliefs are so important and I’ll share with you 2 things you can do to believe new things.
It was Socrates that said…”an unexamined life is not worth living.”
And when it comes to examining your life, the very best place to begin examining is your beliefs.
Beliefs can be sneaky though. The most important and impactful beliefs are so hidden that we’re not even aware of how they’re impacting our lives.
Even worse…we often end up thinking our beliefs are true.
If you want to up level your income, impact and enjoyment, then making sure your beliefs are aligned with where you want to go is foundational to your success.
Enjoy the show.
Thanks for all you do.
Keep saving lives.

Hi Angus,
really great pod cast today.
thank you very much indeed. Just had a little wobble at the office , today , one of our new associates said she was covering in another clinic. Her numbers are down this last two week and we have put so much work into her in the last 5 months. I will give her your podcast and let her see what she needs to do in our clinic to get her targets and for some reason when something like this happens I tend to crumble a bit inside. But that line 2 if you can experience it you can cope with it and if you can experience all the emotions and know they are just emotions then you can handle things better.
Thank you so much. Kind regards John Keane
Hi John,
thanks for sharing and I’m glad you enjoyed the podcast.
Sorry to hear about the challenges with your new associate. One of the ways I like to look at situations like this is to seperate the numbers from the drama. That way I can remove the emotion, look at what’s happening and move forwards. When I get stuck in the emotion/fear/frustration/stress/shame etc it’s paralysing for me and makes the situation worse. There’s lots of reasons why her numbers might be down the past week, investigate that (without the drama) and try something new (anything!)…just do something different. Best wishes John. Angus
